Useful information Libro furniture - Polish capital

The Libro company is entirely Polish-owned. Production takes place in Polish facilities using materials sourced mainly in Poland.

We make every effort to ensure that the furniture you receive meets your expectations and serves you well.

We offer two collections: Libro – a basic collection with a wide range of fabrics and furniture, ensuring quality at an affordable price, and the Tabou collection – furniture with refined style, made to high standards, aimed at customers who appreciate a combination of quality, luxury, and modern solutions.

Our furniture is available in a network of showrooms across Poland; we do not engage in direct sales. Our business partners are trusted and loyal contractors who provide service at the highest level.

Our products reflect current stylistic trends and meet quality requirements in accordance with applicable standards. The materials and products used have the necessary approvals and certifications.

Production in our facilities follows strictly defined procedures based on our Quality Policy compliant with ISO and FSC® standards. Quality certificates and numerous awards confirm the high quality of our products and the effectiveness of our initiatives.

We use various types of fabrics, which are often enhanced with additional protective systems. To ensure that the purchased furniture serves well and provides satisfaction, it is important to follow a few basic guidelines:

  • Furniture should be used in dry, enclosed rooms protected from harmful atmospheric influences and direct sunlight.
  • The humidity in the rooms should be between 40-70%.
  • The permissible temperature is between +15°C and +40°C. Furniture should not be placed less than 1.5 meters away from active radiators.
  • Protect furniture from unnecessary mechanical damage, which may occur, for example, from sitting on the headrest board, standing on armrests, edges, backrests, on individual wooden slats of the pull-out bed, or from overloading the bedding box with excessive bedding volume, etc.
  • It is also required to level and place the furniture on an even floor.
  • When unfolding sofas for lying down, it is important to always perform this action standing in front of the furniture, at the center of its width. Slightly lift the seat from the bottom and pull it out to the limit, moving in a straight line. The mattresses of corner sofa sets should be pulled out with a vertical-diagonal motion forward, after first extending the lying segment, as with sofas.
  • Some high-quality velvet fabrics shimmer in light, appearing to have different shades. This is not a reason for complaint but a characteristic feature of these fabrics.
  • The fabrics used in the furniture do not require special care. Occasionally, cleaning with a soft clothing brush or a vacuum cleaner with an upholstery attachment is sufficient.
  • Stains and larger dirt should be removed immediately with a soft, white cotton cloth dampened in lukewarm water, using circular motions without applying too much pressure. Leave the cleaned areas to dry naturally. Immediately after drying, the cleaned areas on the fabric covers can be brushed with a clothing brush (do not use a hairdryer). For stubborn stains, mild soap can be used.
  • Under no circumstances should chemical cleaning agents such as thinners, gasoline, or alcohol be used to clean upholstery fabrics.
  • Applying too much pressure while cleaning can cause colors to lighten.
  • Always exercise caution by testing the cleaning method on a less visible area of the upholstery to see how the colors respond.
  • Cleaning and care products for furniture available in general retail can only be used at the Buyer’s own risk. It is recommended to have upholstered furniture cleaned by specialized companies that provide such services.
  • The permissible load for bent and glued chairs is 110 kg.
